Playlists
Okay, so hopefully, by now you've assembled a music playlist in the player to the left. If not...well, get to it! To save your mix and turn it into a playlist, click the Save button near the left-bottom of the screen, just below the player, title it and hit "Ok". Now when you switch to the Playlists tab (located above the tracklisting), you'll see your recently made Playlist listed as a selection. Click on it, and you'll see all of its songs are now displayed, allowing you to listen to them anytime you wish. If you wish to create a new blank playlist, go to File and select "New Playlist", from the top of the screen.

Equalizer
If you'd like to toy around with your audio settings, Rhapsody has a nice equalizer you can activate which allows for customization and comes with presets. Move your mouse cursor to Tools, click on it, and select Equalizer. Choose from one of the dozens of presets, or configure the audio to your own liking. If you make a mistake, just hit the "Reset" button to revert it back to normal.

Downloading Music
Rhapsody requires a constant internet connection in order for you to stream music from it. If you don't happen to have one at any point in time and still wish to listen to your music, you can download tracks allowing you to listen to them any time you wish. Rhapsody downloads them, but do note that they are encoded to solely play using Rhapsody, and will not work with your other media player. To download a track, simply right-click on it using your mouse and scroll down to "Download Track(s)". You can download more than one track simply by holding down CTRL, selecting which songs you want, and performing the download operation as explained above. If you'd like to highlight an entire list of tracks straight down, hold down the SHIFT button, choose the first song of your list and choose the last - with that, you will have also selected everything in between.

Music Burning
If you choose to buy a bunch of songs so that you can burn a CD, know this: burning CDs in Rhapsody is easy. On the left-side where the player is, look where it says "Sources." There you should see the "Burn a CD" option. Select it, and you'll be greeted with an explanatory screen. So go on and insert a blank CD-R/CD-RW, because all you have to do in order to compile a mix is drag-and-drop songs over that information display in order for it to go away. Yes, you can simply drag and drop them from the mixer on the left. When you're done just hit the Start Burn button at the top-right.

Channels
You may have spotted a feature called "Channels" and wondered what they're about. Channels consist of either Rhapsody radio stations or theme-based music stations, such as a Christmas theme, metal theme, disco theme, etc. To browse and add channels, go to the "Channel Guide" tab located at the top and select it. Much like how you add music, you add Channels the same way - by either playing them immediately, or adding them to your channels library for future listening.

Playlist Central
The Playlist Central tab next to the Channel Guide is a collection of playlists put together by other Rhapsody users, including other music artists, editorial picks, and even celebrities. You'll want to scour around here if you're looking to diversify your music horizons. It's also a good way to find more music that suit your specific needs. Moreover, you can search for playlists by genre, again allowing you to really broaden on your tastes in addition to catering to your wishes. Use this feature when you're looking for more music.
